Tide Clock - What The Heck Is It And How Does It
Affect Me?
What the blue blazes is a Tide clock? I did not have a clue. I checked
online and found out that it is a clock that keeps precise
track of the moon as it goes around this Earth of ours. Okay, to me this means
nothing -- to researchers and scientist it means a great deal. Oh and
lets not forget it keeps track of the high and low tides.
Great! now we can find out if the tide is coming in so we do not drown.
Just what I needed to know. If you look at a picture of one of these gadgets,
you will notice that it says half tide. Uh, can someone explain to me what
a half tide is? Is it a point that the tide cannot make up its mind on
what it wants to do. Sure hope not. Would be terrible for fishermen, not to mention the fish,
don't you think?
It is said that tides can have a lead that is different from every
ocean, so tide projecting clocks are set for when a lunar high tide is happening.
This often can cause complications because the leads can vary during
the course of the lunar month.
Where does these gadgets come from? Who
makes this stuff up or invents these gizmos, and why can't I ever come
up with something like this? I must have been born with the inventor DNA
missing or at least wompy-jawed! It is interesting to read that a person who uses a tide clock
should set it during a new or full moon.
Sounds spooky, but why? I do not have the slightest clue, but the reason
for this is that it can be more accurate in determining the incoming
tide reports. Smart little clock don't you think? I say pure genius but
again, I never knew what a this kind of clock was until now, maybe my brain
should be reset for accuracy during the full or new moon.
Well,
if your interested in finding out where to get a tide clock the only
place you need to look is right online. There are tons of websites that
offer tide related clocks and they even come in so many different style to fit
your everyday life and your personality. Prices Vary of course. So come
on, lets find out when the tide is coming in together.
