Who knew that a pair of Gravity Defyer shoes would lead to marriage?
There once was a sad, little man, who had never heard of Gravity Defyer Shoes, whose feet hurt. His joints ached and he had no friends. His next door neighbor, an older widow, felt sorry for him and she decided to buy him a pair of these shoes because she knew that they were magical. She was waiting to find someone else who wore them so that they could share the magic. She left a pair of shoes on his front step with a note that said, “Try these on.” The man found the shoes and was intrigued. “Gravity Defyer Shoes,” he said, “Hmmm, I’m going to put these on and see what happens.” They fit his aching feet perfectly. Suddenly he was feeling as if he was the star of the Disney movie Flubber. The spring in his step made him feel like he was walking on air and he was no longer feeling short; instead he felt like he was ten feet tall. All he knew was that he was a brand new man in his brand new shoes and was ready to party. He started dancing around his house and then he went dancing up and down the street because he no longer felt any joint pain. His neighbor looked out the window and when she saw him she quickly went and put on her pair of Gravity Defyer Shoes too. She came outside and soon these two were dancing and defying gravity together all over town. They were playing leap frog and bouncing around like two kids on pogo sticks. The newfound spring in their step kept them up all night, dancing and running around every dancehall in town. Who knew that a pair of Gravity Defyer shoes would lead to marriage? The man was so happy with his shoes and his new girlfriend that he asked her to marry him. He would have gotten down on bended knee but he couldn’t stop bouncing around in those shoes. The man and woman invited the entire town to their wedding and they bought every single wedding guest a pair of the magical shoes. The ceremony looked liked it was taking place on a trampoline because everyone kept jumping up and down in excitement. Was it the wedding or was it those shoes?
